IT Professionals to Prep for Certification Exam with Docker Training Workshop
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Information technology professionals
can register now for the Docker Certified Associate Training Program, a
four-day workshop in December that helps people prepare for the Docker
certification exam.
U of A Professional and Workforce Development — in
partnership with BoxBoat Technologies, provider of expert implementation
services for the container ecosystem — will offer Docker training designed for
developers, operations and enterprise information technology teams. A basic understanding
of the Linux command line is recommended but not required.
Register online no later than Dec. 9. The four-day training
workshop is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 10-13, at the
Global Campus in Rogers, 3300 Market St., Suite 402. The cost is $1,499 for
Arkansas residents and $1,999 for those who reside outside Arkansas.
"The U of A offers Docker training as an upskill course
intended to serve IT professionals seeking advanced training to accelerate
their careers," said Mark Berkowick, assistant director of workforce
readiness at Global Campus. "Through input and feedback from the IT
Readiness network of partners, Docker was identified as an area of need for
training in Northwest Arkansas."
Workshop participants will learn how to integrate Docker
into their organizational workflows, from development through operations.
The IT Readiness Program offers courses and workshops
designed to help people begin or advance a career in information technology.
Docker Certified Associate training is one of the training options showcased on
the U of A Professional and Workforce Development website.
